Ingredients: dried black currant (85%), dried peppermint (15%)
Black currant berries are rich in vitamin C, B1, P, carotene, organic acids, iron, trace elements - manganese, copper, chromium, etc. Therefore, berries are dried at low temperatures to preserve these valuable substances and trace elements as much as possible. Peppermint is one of the herbs that has a very wide application in medicine. It contains an essential oil, which consists of many components, thus having a diverse effect on the body. This herb is often used for colds and flu, for neck pain, as menthol removes itchiness, and for bronchitis. Due to its pleasant, refreshing taste, peppermint is commonly used for nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, flatulence, increased acidity in the stomach, hiccups, and appetite. Promotes biliary excretion and can also be used as a mild diuretic. Peppermint activates and strengthens the human brain and stimulates mental capacity. Peppermint also use against headaches, insomnia. This plant improves blood circulation by expanding capillaries. Has calming, antispasmodic, antiseptic and analgesic effects. Externally used as an antiseptic for bathing, throat rinsing, inhalation. Peppermint is considered to have antitumor activity.
Do not use in case of severe hypotension! Not to be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding! Not recommended for children under 12 years age!
Preparation: pour 1 cup (200 ml) of boiling water on 1 tablespoon of herb, allow to infuse for 15 minutes, filter. Tea is recommended to drink undiluted or diluted with boiled water. You can add sugar or honey for taste. This tea can also use as a cold tea by adding ice cubes, honey or lemon.
